Little owl nests

In the heart of the countryside of Saint Pierre de Juillers, between Charente and Charente Maritime, Les Nids de la Chevêche invite you to experience a break of calm, nature and conviviality.

Housed in a carefully renovated old building, the estate now accommodates two 3-star rated cottages: Chevêchette, ideal for couples or small families, and Milan Noir designed as a real cocoon for two with its balneo bath.

The two cottages, located in the same building, each have their own independent entrance and terraces. Guests share the swimming pool, outdoor areas and barbecue in a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere.

Here, time slows down. Days begin with coffee on the terrace, continue by the pool or exploring charming villages, vineyards, local markets and beaches of the Atlantic coast, before ending under a starry sky, in the calm of the countryside.

Little owl nests are ideally located to explore the riches of the region: Royan, Rochefort, Cognac, Mornac-sur-Seudre, Talmont-sur-Gironde or even the islands of Ré/Oléron or Aix are easily accessible for a day trip.



More than just a holiday destination, we envisioned a place where you can take the time to reconnect, breathe, and create beautiful memories.

Les Nids were born from a dream, that of sharing with you our little corner of the countryside between land and ocean while feeling at home.

The Beginning of the Nests

In 2019, we fell in love with this old Charente building. It needed to be completely redesigned, but we immediately envisioned its full potential.

For several years, we undertook a complete renovation. We transformed almost everything: only the walls and the framework were preserved. Each room was carefully considered, each detail chosen with care, respecting the authentic character of the place.

This project required a lot of work, patience, and investment, but above all, a great deal of heart. The little owl nests are much more than just shelters: they tell a family story.

As the work progressed, our son was born and grew up on this construction site. Between the tools, the stones, the moments of doubt as well as joy, he saw the estate come to life and grow at the same time as him.

Today, we are happy to share this place with you. There is still work to be done, everything is not yet perfect, but we hope you will find here a sense of serenity and well-being like the one that has guided us throughout this adventure.

Who are we?

We are Yassine and Raphaëlle, the happy owners of the Little Owl Nests.

Having both a background in the hotel and restaurant industry, but above all, driven by a desire to share good times and meet new people, we decided to bring our dream to life. That's why we created this place, a reflection of ourselves: genuine and welcoming. Our greatest wish is that you have a wonderful time with us.
